Review of 'UFC' Coconut Water

UFC -- Coconut Water (vegan)
Overall Rating: 4/5
Summary: this is awesome in flavour and I have absolutely no complaints with this product on its own. However, it's not quite as sweet and fresh as the Vita Coco brand. Further, it doesn't live up to some of the awesome profiles as other coconut water brands. It is one of the more affordable options out there, so that's a plus that makes me more willing to buy this again.

Hmm, compared to the Vita Coco Coconut Water (reviewed here), it's not quite as sweet and fresh. Just like the Vita Coco, the batches will vary in flavour. UFC (made by the Lam Soon Group) is more affordable but lacks the strong nutritional profile that Vita Coco has. In addition to a weaker nutritional profile, this brand has more calories as well. The colour is also not as clear as Vita Coco...it has a faint colouration.

I would definitely buy this again, however if I found the Vita Coco on sale, I'd prefer to buy it for it's superior nutrition and lower calories.

Other juices:

  1. Do you know if this is cooked or raw coconut water? In other words, do they heat treat the water before bottling?

  2. Hi Julie,

Unfortunately, I haven't a clue. There's not too much info on this brand online.
