Review of 'Oasis' Fruits etc. (Deliciously Yellow)

Oasis -- Fruits etc. (Deliciously Yellow) (vegan)
Overall Rating: 3/5
Summary: this is one of the better juices from concentrate that I've tried (in these small 200mL sizes). This flavour was both sweet and tart with a strong pineapple flavour, which was nice. I would have rated this a 3.5 if the nutritional profile was a little better (e.g. 100% vitamin C...20% just doesn't cut it).

Where to buy: most grocery stores (e.g. Freshco, Sobeys, Real Canadian Superstore)

Ingredients: fruit and vegetable juice from concentrate (water, concentrated apple and/or grape, pineapple, carrot, passion fruit, lemon, yellow bell pepper, juices), (apple and golden kiwi) purées, natural flavour, turmeric.

Okay, at 90 calories and *only* 20% vitamin C...soooo not worth it. I'd rather just have pure orange juice. Not impressed. I am happy that there are no added sugars though!

If you're not a big fan of tartness or sourish drinks, this one probably isn't for you. I really enjoy tartness in anything and I used to eat green, maddeningly sour mangoes with salt and pepper as a child...so I was fine :)

Honestly though, after having Kiju's Organic Mango Orange (reviewed here) juice, it's so difficult to enjoy juices from concentrate. I wouldn't buy this again, especially since the nutritional profile doesn't wow me.
