Review of 'Kinnikinnick Foods Inc.' KinniKritter Animal Cookies

Kinnikinnick Foods Inc. -- KinniKritter Animal Cookies (vegan)
Overall Rating: 3.5/5
Summary: The fact that these are meant for children probably has something to do with my giving it a lower rating. It's basically just a sugar cookie. The flavour...is sugar. No vanilla, no nothin'. Texture-wise, it was crunchy and fresh and the bite-size made it messy-free. They're alright. I wouldn't buy them again unless I was expecting my lil cousins over. I bet you could get really creative baking with these!

Hmm, I'm not thrilled that the first ingredient is sugar...not thrilled at all.
Based on the 'empty' ingredients are lacklustre flavour (just plain ol sugar cookies), I wouldn't buy these cookies again. The nutritional profile is very bare...it's all fat, carbs and sugars...not cool.

I know I mentioned that these may be worth it if you have kids...but I just mean that your kids would probably enjoy them. However, it's probably not the greatest idea to buy these for your kids since there's no nutritional value. Sure, for a very rare treat, they're fun!

These animal-shaped cookies would probably be great in baking activities with kids. You could use them as toppings for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and so on. You could also use a food processor and make a nice cheesecake crust. Their website has a list of gluten-free recipes that you can check out (here).
