Review of 'Enjoy Life' Very Berry Crunch Granola

Enjoy Life -- Very Berry Crunch Granola (not vegan; contains honey)
Overall Rating: 3/5
Summary: hmm, tastes bland at first, then gets a little better after a few chews, but reallly subtle berry flavours. It also tasted artificial and plastic-y to me. It had a hint of tartness and the berry flavour was actually quite nice. The execution just wasn't right.

Where to buy: Bulk Barn, Fortinos, perhaps Whole Foods, buy online

The ingredients are great, but the calories...oh boy! The 1/2 cup serving size is 190 calories. Admittedly, the 1/2 cup was actually a good portion for me, but most people will have at least 1 cup per serving, which is almost 400 calories without milk! That's....not good.

It is low in fat, has 0 cholesterol, and has natural sugars...but the weak flavour combined with high calories and low protein content makes it unworthy of my recommendation! I wouldn't buy this granola again.

The texture is really nice for a gluten free granola -- it closely resembled the oaty-ness you'd normally find in granolas.
