Overall Rating: 3.5/5
Summary: The flavour of this bread is really nice -- it has a really hearty, subtle sweet flavour. Very nice! The nutritional profile is also really good so it's unfortunate that the texture is so dry -- it actually makes it uncomfortable to swallow at times. I've only recently begun to try gluten-free breads and so far, I'd place this one in the top spot.

This is definitely the best nutritional profile out of the gluten-free breads I've tried (El Peto, Food for Life). The ingredients are organic :) Huge plus, HUGE! Nothing artificial. Even better, the calories are low and the nutrition is good. For two slices, you'll get a nice 6g of protein and a whopping 10g of fiber! Add to that no saturated fat and your healthy omega fats and you have a solid gluten-free bread option.
It's really too bad that the texture falls short -- that is, you'll definitely need a beverage to wash this bread down. The bread is very dry after toasting (and I don't overtoast either!). Making up for this shortfall, the flavour is great! It's lightly sweetened and really yummy! And this sweetness comes from organic cane sugar and not refined sugars.
Despite it's shortcomings in texture, of all the GF breads I've tried, I'd recommend this one. The brand is pretty impressive as well, so do give it a short if you're looking for a nutritious GF bread.
