Summary: oooh, I was very pleasantly surprised at this 'ice cream'! It wasn't as icy and diluted as other So Delicious flavours I've had. Nevertheless, it wasn't easy to scoop -- it was hard and not at all soft. I had to let it melt for a few minutes before eating it. After melting, it was creamy and the vanilla flavour had some depth to it. The flavour is still more diluted than I'd like, but if I'm craving a vegan Vanilla 'ice cream', it's a better choice than the relatively unhealthy Tofutti brand.

Hey, aside from the good ingredients, look at that fibre content! Three grams! That's pretty high for a soy-based ice-cream so I'm happy :)  Its also pretty low-cal so I guess it makes up for the largely empty nutritional profile. Oh well, desserts are allowed to be 'empty' once in a while, right?

I had a bad experience with the last So Delicious ice cream I tried (the Strawberry Organic Quart, reviewed here), so I thought this one would be super bland and icy. I was so relieved when I took that first spoonful. I think my eyes actually enlarged at the shock (yes, that's how bad the Strawberry flavour was!). I'd definitely recommend this flavour for vegan vanilla-lovers!
