Review of 'Mary's Gone Crackers' "N'Oatmeal" Raisin Cookies

Mary's Gone Crackers -- "N'Oatmeal" Raisin Cookies (vegan)
Overall rating: 3.5/5
Summary: Hey look! Gluten-free 'oatmeal' cookies! I thought these were going to be hard cookies, but these are soft-baked cookies, baby. They were nice and chewy and I liked that they were a little on the dense side, so they make for a filling snack. The flavour was good, with a hint of a burnt flavour that I liked. I could have done without the occasional hints of saltiness though -- just didn't work for me. I liked the raisins, but I felt that they were overpowered by the  The ingredients are awesome, just like you expect from this awesome brand.

So the ingredients are nice and clean, but the nutritional profile isn't too spectacular. For 120 calories, the cookies are more filling than your average cookies, so that's a plus. But, there's only 1g of protein and 1.5g of fiber. Oh well, they're cookies, so what should I really have expected? It's a nice treat for those with a gluten-free diet, so I'd recommend it. It's also a fantastic brand that you can feel proud to support!

I personally wouldn't buy it again, simply because I'd prefer a cookie with a stronger nutritional profile *and* I prefer chocolate in my sweet snacks :P I'm pumped to try the Double Chocolate Cookies next!
