Summary: I really like Stonemill breads -- they are hearty and filling and full of grainy goodness. The flavour is perfectly neutral and goes well with heavy spreads (peanut butter/banana, meats, etc.). Stonemill breads are a regular part of our household pantry. It's super nutritious, delicious, and the brand is progressively health-conscious.

Ingredients: whole grains (sprouted whole grain wheat, whole grain wheat flour, organic whole grain rye flour, brown flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cracked wheat, cracked rye, cracked triticale, barley grits, millet meal, rice semolina, buckwheat grits, durum grits, rolled oats), water, unbleached wheat flour, wheat bran, wheat gluten, yeast, apple cider vinegar, oat bran, sea salt, corn meal, roasted malt flour, organic sourdough (organic whole grain rye flour, water, bacterial culture).

C'mon, look at those ingredients -- it's got 'organic' all over! Pretty sweet, huh? And the nutritional profile actually indicates just how wholesome the ingredients are. I know the slices are small, but trust me, this bread is super filling. It might be the high fiber and protein content that's doing the trick. It's super low-calorie, low in fat, has ZERO sugars, and no cholesterol :) Gotta love Stonemill. Gotta!!

I really like the crisp crust on this bread after it's been toasted. It adds complexity to the texture. The flavour is savoury and goes realllly well with deli slices (e.g. Tofurky Deli Slices, Yves Deli Slices), especially the smokey-flavoured ones!

I'll definitely be buying Stonemill breads again and I encourage everyone to buy their products -- great taste, wholesome ingredients, and super nutritious!
