Review of 'Natura' Organic Fortified Soy Beverage (Original)

Natura -- Organic Fortified Soy Beverage (Original) (vegan)
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Summary: I like that this soy milk has a smooth texture -- it's creamy but not thick and heavy in residue. It's not grainy at all and has a pleasant, very light beany flavour. It's very lightly sweetened and goes well with cereals and coffee/tea. The brand is progressive and the ingredients and nutrition are both very good. I would definitely recommend this.

The nutrition to calorie ratio here is great! For 100 cals, you get a beverage that's low in saturated fat and high in your good, healthy fats. There's zero cholesterol, natural sugars, a decent amount of protein, and a nice portion of calcium.

Compared to Vitasoy's Unsweetened Soymilk (reviewed here), it does have slightly more calories and less protein, *however* there's less confusion about the integrity of this brand when it comes to the GMO question. So...for this reason, I'd opt for Natura.

Other 'Soy Beverage' flavours (all vegan):
Brand:
  • All products are certified organic, kosher, and vegan
  • Organic, non-GMO soybeans
  • Soybeans are grown in Quebec by certified organic farms
  • Gluten-free
