Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Summary: Loved it! It was very soft and chewy and had a good amount of chocolate chips--very important. It had an appetizing chocolate aroma (I`m getting to be pretty big on smells) and it`s as sweet as it smells. I would have liked to have more of a chocolate flavour incorporated into the bar itself (aside from the chocolate chips). I`d buy this again, for sure!
Where to buy: Bulk Barn, Fortinos, Costco

No worries about these great ingredients -- they are GMO-free and organic. The nutritional profile is great, save for the sodium...I have way too much of that on a regular basis. The last thing I need is more sodium in my diet, especially from a protein bar. The calories may seem high, but if you're active and exercising, then you need those calories for the protein and carbohydrates. If you're not active and you're trying to watch what you eat, protein bars probably aren't for you.
There are healthy fats, no cholesterol, and it's high in vitamins and minerals. Cheers for anything with calcium (25%!). I'm grateful that it passed the 2g of fiber minimum standard that I like to follow. I'm not too psyched about the 21g of sugar, but I don't really consume sugar (except for on the weekends) on a daily basis, so it's not too much of a concern for me, personally.
