Review of Stacy's Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips

Stacy's -- Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips (vegan)
Overall Rating: 4/5
Summary: satisfyingly sweet, cinnamon sugar flavour was sufficiently present, texture of the sugar was fine but just enough to make it interesting on the buds..gosh, these were really yummy! I didn't give it a 5 point rating simply because I would have preferred whole wheat flour (rather than enriched) and the serving sizes are quite small for the calorie count.

The serving size is 7 pita chips! Who eats SEVEN chips and puts any bag away?? No one, that's who, goddammit! I'd say 15-30 is a decent portion size and I'm being conservative here. And if that were the case, then the calories would be whopping for just a little snack. So this is definitely a snack for those able to implement portion control...orrrr those looking to indulge, like myself!

I actually didn't find these pita chips in Brampton. They were bought  in the US and I just got them this weekend. Actually, I think it's only available in US stores, unless you try buying it online.

And as per my usual weekend dessert party, I finished the entire bag with a small jar of grape jam. It was good times. The flavour was great! It was actually cinnamony AND sugary! It was honestly the perfect sweetness and I don't say that often. The sugar was fine but you got a great taste of the tiny crystals on the pita chips and it made for great texture. The pita itself was a nice thickness (I don't like it too thin), so you got a good mouthful per bite.
