Review of 'Luna Bar' Caramel Nut Brownie Nutrition Bar

Luna -- Caramel Nut Brownie Nutrition Bar (vegan)
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
Summary: soft, chewy goodness with a great crisp thanks to the 'rice crisps.' This bar was awesome...very chocolatey and sweet, though as a sweet fiend, it could have been a wee bit sweeter if I had it my way. I also would have preferred more/bigger chunks of nuts (walnuts). I'd definitely buy this again!

Where to buy: Bulk Barn, Fortinos

I bought the Luna bar from Bulk Barn (love shopping there!), where they often have really good sales on really healthy and tasty foods.

The texture was wafery because of the rice crisps and I absolutely love that about this bar. It wasn't crumbly at all and it was really soft and chewy so no messiness. It was nicely chocolatey and the caramel was present, but not strong enough for me. I would have liked a deeper caramel flavour. Now, normally I'm not a fan of getting hints of saltiness in my sweets, but somehow it worked in this bar. Another thing I would have added was more nuts and bigger chunks of nuts...I saw the nuts in the bar, but didn't really get the taste or enough of the crunch.

This was my first taste of the Luna bars and it was a great first experience.

Other Flavours:
I was gonna end with choosing the flavour I'd most like to try next, but jeeeezzz there are so many that sound scrumptious! Hmm, the Peanut Butter Cookie sounds pretty intense!
