Summary: umm wow...very sweet and intense in cherry flavour, this dessert was soft, totally creamy, and very satisfying. I actually liked the chunks of cherries dropped throughout (thought it would have that gross maraschino medicine-y taste, but no sir!). It also had bits chocolate shavings in it that gave it that added texture. I would definitely buy this again. DEFINITELY!

Hey look!! 5g of fiber! That's pretty awesome and makes up for the meager 1g protein. The cals are an average level so no issue there. Other than the fiber, no significant nutritional perks.
So this is tied with the Praline Pecan flavour in the Purely Decadent line (reviewed here). I honestly cannot find anything to complain about and can't think of anything I could add or change to improve on this 'ice cream'.
The flavour was exciting and so so richly cherry. I'm not a cherry fanatic...I appreciate the fruit and all, but it's by no means my favourite or anything....but dannngg I can't believe how good this was! It was so sweet and I felt really satisfied after finishing the whole pint in one sitting...with about 4 brownies. Heheh, it was a good Sunday afternoon :)
The texture was great as it normally is with the Purely Decadent line...it was totally scoopable and soft and creamy...absolutely no iciness or stiffness. VERY much appreciated. The chocolate shavings were so thin and crispy and paired with the tender cherry chunks, each spoonful was such a treat! Do yourself a favour and buy this--you will not be sorry, trust me.
