Summary: it's not very sweet at all on its own, but the blueberry flavour is definitely present. After toasting, it gets a nice, light crisp and gives way to a tender, soft inside. I actually really liked it, both with maple syrup, with peanut butter, and even on its own. And this is so, despite the very faint sweetness! If this brand were certified GMO-free and had a stronger nutritional profile , I would have given a higher endorsement because of the yumminess. I love blueberries!

Although I did enjoy this waffle, I do wish there was no added sugar in the ingredients and that they just stuck to the fruit-juice sweetener.

I'm disappointed in the nutritional profile. For 230 calories, 1g of fiber and 2g of protein is just not cutting it. It's low in saturated fat and the sugar content isn't bad, but the sodium content is a wee bit higher than I'd prefer. There's just not much going on even in the vitamin and nutrients area, so I'm not going to be recommending these waffles.
